After graduating with an MA in Sociology at the University in Hungary, Rita worked at the Hungarian Institute for Educational Research & Development as a research assistant on several research projects looking at vocational education. She conducted her doctoral research in education at the University of Birmingham, comparing the production and utilisation of information systems across Europe on school leavers and graduates' pathways. In her current role as a post-doctoral researcher at the Widening Participation Research and Evaluation Unit, Rita leads on the Sheffield Student 2013 research project following a generation of undergraduate students throughout their university years to gain a better understanding of their experiences at TUoS. Her expertise in looking at academic transitions in a longitudinal context brought her to work on the RARA project.
