Cara Attenborough

Research & Policy Manager, Students and Education Directorate

I began working at King's College London in 2015 on a project designing personal tutor resources. Two years later and our Personal Tutor Portal, an intranet-based resource for staff, is viewed over 300 times per week! I continue to work with colleagues on personal tutoring strategy, in addition to other projects that impact the student experience. I originally wanted to work on personal tutor resources, and now collaborate on the RARA project, because of the profound impact my personal tutor had on me at the University of Leeds. I did both a BA and Masters by Research there and my personal tutor, Clive, was instrumental in me not only finishing my first degree, but applying for my second! I hope that through RARA, we can demonstrate how effective and potentially life-changing personal tutoring can be.
